Enhance IMan Schedule Properties for Compound Schedules like SQL Server Scheduler (4 replies)
Jim, this is a good suggestion and something which is already on our enhancement list (as a reasonably high priority).
FYI IMan has it's own internal scheduler (hosted in the Realisable Scheduler service)....it's not at all reliant on the Windows task scheduler.
Thanks
Would love to see the ability to make a schedule active/inactive. Sometimes I need to make and adjustment and right now I have to delete the whole schedule and then re-add it.
@jimy - IMan Integrations can be run via command line so you can use the Windows Scheduler to run your Integrations using a high degree of control.
You can create Task Schedules via command line, too.

Currently IMan schedule properties seems to be based on Microsoft Task Scheduler and does not offer easy set up of compound schedules.
Customer would like to schedule a job to import data every 15 minutes only M-F between the hours of 9am and 5pm.
Reasons: (1) Reduce activity on server and prevent iMan from looking for files that would not be there in the weekends and after business hours and (2) Reduce the tedious setup and maintenance of multiple Job Schedules in trying to replicate a compound schedule.
A good example of a very flexible Job scheduler is the one in SQL Server--> Maintenance Plan as in attached screenshot.
