FTP Task: Ability to move/copy folders recursively, (5 replies)
Randy, thanks.
What is the use case? (Also, what is the screenshot....it's of the AOM).
That's really weird, I didn't add a screenshot for this issue, and that screenshot is not from my system - I no longer use a screenshot tool that allows for adding those red and green boxes.
Anyway... the reason I made this request is that I wanted to download an entire directory structure:
Folder1
Folder1\Folder2
Folder1\Folder3
Folder1\Folder4
When you tell the FTP Task to download Folder1, you only get the files (not directories) present in Folder1.
Ideally, there would be a "Recursive Folder" (or something similar) checkbox which would move/copy the sub folders as well.
Ticket: IMAN-862 has been logged for this feature request.
I have the same requirement, i.e. FTP subfolders.
Has this been resolved?

It would be nice to have a checkbox which you could set which would cause the FTP task to not only move/copy a folder, but also the subfolders.
