AP Invoice Entry Security through IMAN failing (3 replies)
These are the rights for the IMAN user
Arline, it looks like it is definitely objecting in some way to the IMAN user security. As far as I know there is no difference in behaviour between manual entry and using an IMan integration. The security context is always applied the same way.
Sounds like you have checked that the Sage 300 connector is definitely using the correct user and that the integration is pointing at the correct company. Therefore, is it possible the integration is set up to do something that you are not doing with a manual entry?
Hi there, thanks for the feedback, but I am having trouble pinpointing what that would be.
Weird issue here. I'm trying to use IMAN to create an Unposted AP Invoice batch in Sage. The IMAN user has all rights in AP: Inquiry/Entry/Posting. When I log into Sage as the IMAN user, I can create a batch manually. When I try to create a batch via the IMAN integration, I get the below message that the user has insufficient rights.
I am able to create the batch if in the System Connector Setup area, I use the ADMIN user. But I don't want to do that. However, I'm not clear what needs to change for the IMAN user in order for it to be able to create the batch.
Suggestions?
