Import Survey Monkey results to Sage CRM (3 replies)
Survey Monkey does offer a web API interface that IMan could consume. It's not my area of expertise but it should be doable:
Django, thanks.
Yes, we should be able to do this.
For simplicity, we recommend using the 'Private App' approach for authentication, (though the link on the page appears to be dead but this is something we've done previously) which means simply using a Basic Authentication.

In respect to downloading survey results, you will need to know the survey id, as this will provide the part of the url. Another question....how many surveys would you need to import into CRM? Is this an ongoing activity?
If you wish to speak about this send me an email.

Hi everybody,
I have a design question, just curious how you'd handle this. The goal is that I send out surveys to person records within Sage CRM. They answer the questions. Can I:
1. Use IMAN to magically log into Survey Monkey, extract the results, and map them into Sage CRM person records with a match on e-mail address?
2. Or do I need a separate programming job to (somehow) extract the data from Survey Monkey and get it into a flat file for IMAN to use?
Just curious!
Thanks, this forum is the best.
