ARCUS.Codecurn and ARCUS.Idratetype not available to IMan (4 replies)
John, in reply.
- The currency is driven by the Customer account set; there isn't a direct field you can set for currency.
- Rate Type Field - Yes this is missing (for some reason). We will open a ticket and issue you a patch.
Thanks
Codecurn is a field in ARCUS. It's not available to IMan.
ARCUS documented
John, whilst it may be in the data dictionary and indeed the database, it doesn't mean you can write to it via the Sage300 API (the AR0024 view).
You need to look how the Sage300 works as we follow the same logic (it's ultimately controlled by the logic provided by the API/views).
Below is a screenshot of a new customer record (before the Add/Save button is pressed). I have set the Account Set field to one which has a currency other than the Sage300 home currency.
You will notice the Currency field is not editable....this is way IMan also works.
(I sent you an update for the IDRATETYPE field).
Hope this helps.
Our client needs to have currency code and rate type included in new customers added to Sage 300 from IMan. Those fields are not available in the dropdown list of Sage 300 fields in the Sage 300 connector.
I see the problem in two installations, both using IMan 4.11 and Sage 300. The installation where those fields are required has Sage 300 Advanced 2016. The other has Sage 300 Premium 2018.
Is there a patch needed for IMan? How can I update those fields?
