Can IMAN *not* create a batch if it encounters errors during batch creation? (2 replies)
There is no facility to delete the batches if there's an error encountered.
It has been requested from other customers so we may add this in the future.
Got it- thank you.
Hi there,
I have a job that creates a Sage 300 A/R invoice batch based on reading a CSV file.
If IMAN encounters any errors (typically Sage 300 errors) when it's in the process of creating the unposted Sage 300 A/R Invoice batch, can the batch just NOT be created? Right now it seems to create a successful entry for every valid row, then when an invalid row is encountered, the batch creation stops, an error is sent via the Audit function, and the user then must open Sage 300 and manually delete the invalid unposted batch, then fix the file and re-run the IMAN job.
Just wondering if there's a way to have IMAN abort the whole batch before it's created or if this is by design.
Thanks!
Arline
