Arline, the printer must be a local printer; it cannot be a shared printer which is setup on another server.
The printer can print to an IP port, but the port must be setup on the workstation/server where IMan is installed.
If you've just setup the printer you may need to restart the services and/or even restart the server.

I am in need of help! Looking for some advice please on printing a Sage 300 invoice to a printer. We've got it successfully generating a PDF on the network but just can't get the thing to print. The job is reporting success. Also may I have a little more detail on the requirement that it not be a network printer? I'm getting that from the Sage 300 ERP User Guide document:
"The name of the locally installed printer. The
printer cannot be a network printer. "
Here's some of the config info, below. What other info could I provide?
