Arline, the date in IMan should be a date and NOT the reverse date format of yyyyMMdd.

Hey, thanks for the reply- yes, I understand it needs to be date. My question, though is more about how to interpret the message from the Sage 300 API. How am I meant to understand that Field ID 47 = INVDATE? That's my struggle. I uploaded the screenshot of the AOM because while I see INVDATE, I don't see anything in the AOM that indicates that it is Field 47.
Arline, sorry, misinterpreted your query.
The field id can be found (or at least could be found) on the AOM if you access by the View vs. the Table per the attached screenshot.
Just a general question. How do I use the object model to discern which field type is being referenced in an IMAN message (sent from the sage API?)
EG: "0 - The value assigned to field ID 47 does not match the field type."
How do I discern which field is Field ID 47?
Here's a screen snap of the object model open in a browser. I believe the field must be INVDATE because I've been making changes to that field. But where can I see the link between INVDATE and Field ID 47? Is there a different way to view/use the AOM than what I'm doing?
