Sage 300: Print an Invoice to a printer, THEN create a PDF on the network (3 replies)
Arline, you should be able to both print and export a file as part of the same Sage300 connector.
To print you need to map the printer fields:
- PRINT - True
- PRINTER - The local printer name
To export you need to:
- EXPORT - The full file path inc. extension of the form to export.
\\server\share\folder\subfolder\IN00021.pdf

You did post another issue, but I am taking this offline as it different and obscures this post.
Ok, that's good that I should be able to do that within one connector.
For whatever reason I am still having issues. No PDF was created - I'm waiting to find out if an Invoice was printed. I followed your mapping suggestions, and the transform gave the message that it was processed successfully, but I don't see the PDF created in the designated file folder.
Arline, please consult the following (new) Printing & Exporting Forms page in our documentation.
Thanks
Hi there,
I'm pretty sure this must be possible but perhaps I'm doing this in the wrong order. Goal is to print an Invoice to a printer, THEN create a PDF on the network. I seem to be able to do either one, but IMAN is throwing errors when I try to take the SAME invoice, and print it, then PDF it. You can see I'm trying a couple things here- 1. adding the "PDF" Sage 300 connector after the "Print" Sage 300 connector;
2. adding the "PDF" Sage 300 connector after the Filter transform, thinking the data could just go through the connectors in order of priority.
