Sage CRM Connector: Can't select "Import Type" or "Update Operation" (2 replies)

The cause for the empty drop downs is the metadata schema which CRM is generating is invalid. It contains spaces in the name and entity type attributes.
The invalid schema is due to you connecting to a CRM instance which has been upgraded from 7.0 or 7.1 to 7.2 and above. In this older schema, there are lots of char and nchar fields which leave trailing spaces after the value. It is those trailing spaces, specifically on the custom_tables table which is causing the invalid schema to be generated.
To resolve this, you need to run the following update script (bundled with CRM).
\Program Files (x86)\Sage\CRM\CRM73\Setup\SQLServer\Upgrade\ConverttoNVARCHAR.sql
Be aware of any errors (as you may need to drop certain indexes on the custom_tables table).
After this CRM update script is run, then you need to run our update script (attached), which replaces the normal update script.

Why can't I select either of these "Import Type" or "Update Operation"fields? Obviously I need to do this to get my Connector working.
I've logged off, logged back on, hit Refresh a few times, tried in IE and Chrome, switched from selecting the "Sample Sage CRM Connector" and back to my live connector to no avail. I'm brickwalled.
Anyone?
