Randy, could there be something wrong with the connection string where it's incorrect, but timing out somewhere.

If there were an error, it would display on the screen.

I do not believe that this is possible.  When I attempted to use incorrect credentials, I DID see the error in IMan.  Now that we believe we have the credentials correct, when we try to connect we get the blank screen.

Have you create the AWEB webservice?

The Webservice has been published, and when I was using incorrect credentials before I would get an error in IMan about not being able to access the webservice with the provided credentials (which makes me think that IMan was able to find the Webservice, or else I wouldn't have received an error about incorrect credentials)

The error I saw was:

WS POOL [webservice name] X3 MSGBOX: Connection error - [incorrect user] : User code not authorized for this type of connection.

OK, so you need to give the X3 user Webservices access.
