Backing up IMan

There is both a file and a database component required to backup IMan successfully.

Database Component

The database as per Database settings in Administration Console (shown in the green square above).

File Component

Typically IMan is installed into <drive>:\IMan. This could be either C or a data drive, dependent on the shared data folder set during installation. We recommend that the entire folder, its subfolders and contents were backed up.

At a minimum two folders MUST be backed up:

  1. Job Config. path (red square above) MUST be backed up.
    This is critical as it contains the integration configuration files.
  2. <drive>:\IMan\Config
    Contains some core IMan settings.
