DB Writer Change Notice

In version 4.0 the DB Writer has undergone a complete rewrite. The result is better usability, performance improvements and greater functionality.

Whilst every endeavour has been made to ensure backwards compatibility, it is imperative that any integration using a DB Writer should be checked after upgrading to ensure functionality is maintained.

The following potential issues should be checked:

• Date/Time Fields
  • The functionality introduced in this version expands the scope of Date/Time fields to include ISO 8601 formatted values and ability to store fractional seconds.
• Parameterisation & Field Types
  • To increase security IMan now parameterises all values. Issues may occur due to the conversion of data that can occur on the database server.
