Creating IMan IIS Application Pool

It is recommended that an application pool dedicated to IMan is created. This separates IMan from other IIS based applications, preventing it from causing resource conflicts with those applications and vice versa.

Dedicated IMan application pool prevents resource conflicts with other IIS based applications.

To create a dedicated application pool:

  1. Open the IIS Management Console
    1. Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > IIS Manager.
  2. Expand the computer name on the left hand menu > click ‘Application Pools’.
  3. In the right hand panel, right click ‘Add Application Pool’.
  4. Set up as shown below:

  1. Press OK when complete.
  2. If the server is 64-Bit:
    1. Right click the Application Pool > Advanced Settings.
    2. Set 'Enable 32-Bit Applications' to True.
    3. Press OK when complete.
